Earth Hour takes place this year on March 28th at 8:30 PM, your local time. For one hour, all lights will be switched off as a vote against global warming. 80 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009.

Beginning in Sydney 2007, the cause has spread all over the world exceeding the target of 1000 cities and towns. At precisely 8:30 p.m., all ferries in Sydney Harbor will sound their horns.

Here in Singapore, there will be a mini concert at the Esplanade Park featuring performances by Gold 90.5 FM DJs and local artistes during the one hour blackout.

For those who prefer to stay at home, you can do your part by switching off your lights from 8:30-- 9:30 p.m. and continue to keep up your green efforts. We may not be able to prevent global warming, but we can delay it for a few generations.

You read that right - TSC's been CPR'd and revived for good...hopefully. We can't promise you anything, of course, but hey, months later and we're still going? That says something about our dedication doesn't it? A little. I hope.

The system's pretty much the same, maybe with slightly more improvements because I went through a whole semester of Internet Journalism classes (which I think I flunked, but that's another issue).
